Description of 🧹 Weiler 14311 Crimped Utility Brush: Versatile Cleaning Tool for a Variety of Tasks

MADE IN THE USA: Weiler Power Cup Bushes are proudly made in the USA at our factory in Cresco, PA. ROBUST CONSTRUCTION: Constructed with an internal steel ring to retain the fill material and ensure equal spacing around the perimeter to minimize vibration and extend life. NON-SPARKING BRASS WIRE FILL: Featuring high-quality brass wire that offers a very soft brushing action in comparison to steel and stainless steel and will not generate a spark when used on metal surfaces. IDEAL FOR FLEXIBLE CLEANING APPLICATIONS ON LARGE SURFACES: Demanding light duty cleaning including corrosion/oxide removal, rust/paint removal, light deburring; will not remove base material. USE ON AIR and ROTARY TOOLS: Fits most high speed die grinders and drills that accept a 1/4" stem.

Disappointing Abrasive Brush for Industrial Needs

As a result of using this product, I found that it did not live up to its claims of being durable and effective for industrial use. While it may work for light cleaning, it simply does not hold up under more heavy-duty applications.

Pros
  • None that I could find.
Cons
  • Poor durability and effectiveness for industrial and scientific purposes.

It's brass - Abrasive brushes

Non-brass plated steel. It would have been nice to have more tips to get into those hard-to-reach spots, but gosh it did a great job polishing the valves.

Pros
  • Abrasive brushes
Cons
  • Doubtful

Bought mine in January 2016. looks clean

Purchased January 2016. Looks like pure brass bristles and will not scratch cast iron tools. The bristles are not magnetic.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Available in white only
