Nice Features: Welding equipment

This machine welds very well and has excellent performance for the price. For example, adjustable arc strength and hot start. It's just a matter of durability, but for $80 you can afford to buy another one in five to six years.

Welds 6010, 6011, 6013, 6014 and 7018 welding rods. From 3/32 to 5/32 pliers.

Excellent machine. It's so good I bought 2 of them. yellow and blue. This MMA welder can't be beat for price and service! Works on both 110 and 220 volts. It is best to use 220 volts for ticker bars. Burns sticks well. A great Christmas gift for that special person in your life who can put it to good use and make some money off it.

Works very well! Good for welding systems

So I tested this S7 Arc 250 welder at my dad's workshop as they have both 120 and 240 in the store. "Welder" is not itself a welding machine. He answered very well. Tried several rods 6011, 6013 and 7018 at 240 and 120 with no problems getting the bow. As a beginner I have to admit I still have a long way to go but I look forward to spending many hours with this little machine.

Great performance in a small package

A lot of performance for an item the size of a coffee can. I like the fact that they are 110v and 120v. I suggest smaller bars if using 110v. The wires could be a bit longer and thicker; but they work fine and don't get hot. More would definitely be nice. The instructions are weak. Definitely not for beginners. But if you (like me) know or prefer old-school stick welding, this little package is great for anything but heavy equipment welding. (But maybe!)

This is very good for such a small welder.

This is one of the best little welders I have ever seen and used and I have never had to do a job that I couldn't do with it. The only thing I don't like about it is that the wires of the cable are about 5-6 feet long and not long enough, the electrode and clamp are not very strong, could be better and the cables should have been a lot longer . So far I've been able to weld a door screen, a car frame and a cast iron cass stove, it does such a good job that I'm buying another one because it has…
