Ideal for SMT work.

Great addition to the standard Weller 1/16 point. Excellent spot thermal conductivity of SMT pads. When inserting the tip, be careful not to damage the temperature sensor inside the iron.

  • New

So far, so good. I needed another great tip after mine broke

So far so good. I needed another thin tip after mine broke. I use this tip to remake 0402 units. Not easy, but as good as I could get without buying something super expensive.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Works great best in Tips

I put this on my cheap $49 Weller soldering iron (well I guess it's not as cheap as you could get) and to be honest it works great. Better than the standard flat head you usually get with a weller. Good investment, just keep the tip clean and it will last forever.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Good but not great

Everything is fine except well advised

This is a good product as I have come to expect from Weller. Annoyingly, the tip wobbles slightly (makes a grating noise) no matter how tight you screw the sleeve. I tried another compatible Weller head but it also worked loose. I expect the tip to be tight.

Pros
  • All the best!
Cons
  • Nothing here

There is not much to say about the soldering tip. .

Not much to say about the soldering iron tip. It fits my Weller soldering station as advertised and has been in use for some time. I work with components that are less than 0.1" apart and have had no trouble soldering them with this tip size.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Works very well but a bit expensive

First impression: Too bad it doesn't come with the soldering iron kit I bought Pros: Great for microelectronics (SMD LEDs) Cons: Damn expensive for one piece of advice - (that's my perception of the price, not necessarily what they are sold for in the market) Worth the money / Will I buy this item again?: Yes

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Stupid Revane, this isn't a toy :P

Anyway, someone put this in the wrong category (toys), to be exact. Nevertheless, this tip is ideal for precision soldering, e.g. B. of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Purchase if you need more than the standard tip that comes with your soldering iron. You won't regret it, it does its job well and is exceptionally accurate. I recommend.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • A few little things

The best thing about my new soldering station!

After ten years of repairing just about anything and everything with Radio Shack, I settled on the Weller WES51 analog soldering station. To complete my new setup, I purchased this 1/64" long tapered tip for precision soldering of miniature electronic components. It took my soldering to a whole new level. his terrible tip. If you want to solder components with tiny leads, order this tip.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Recommended: Soldering and Soldering Equipment

Great thin tip for working with small electronics, doesn't fit my $25 Ace iron but does fit our Weller Works soldering stations which are the same as listed in the product description . Great for repairing the MFP screen in my 2004 Toyota Prius. Follow the guidelines on this website http://www.techno-fandom.org/hobbit/cars/mfd/. He describes the problem in great detail. Now all I have to do is replace my 12 volt battery as the charge drops so low overnight that it doesn't work right away in the

  • Great Design
