Probably the best 1/4 " screwdriver handle

I have already bought this unit in a smaller version that comes with a bit of tool checking. i love it immediately Just a few weeks later I ordered extended drivers from Revain. This is a great pull handle that really holds the bits in place so they don't try to come out. It feels very comfortable in the hand and doesn't seem to be bothered by things like grease and solvents. I hope when you buy it you will be as happy as I am.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Having trouble

Fine. - Screwdriver

I really like the design of the Wera quick adapter, especially since the bit doesn't come out until you slide the quick adapter ring forward, unlike most bit holder designs. But when an extension (or long bit) is inserted into the quick adapter, there is too much play. I have an old Rapidapter short extension that is better in this regard. It can be acceptable at a lower price if you don't plan to use it regularly. The diameter is too small for my large hand. (The Wera 051024 Kraftform Kompakt…

A small pen is not for big hands

I bought a Wera screwdriver 05073541001 Kraftform 817 R SB Hexagon Premium Plus Bitholding from Gott Electronics. The screwdriver has a small handle that causes pain in the hands when turned vigorously. When I sent it back I was charged a 30% restocking fee. When I asked for a refund of the balance I started running, first it was a restocking fee, then a cleaning fee (the item wasn't dirty), then a testing fee. This is a screwdriver. In short, every excuse to save my money. So that you know…

Great quality and good size for small jobs

I really like this screwdriver handle. I bought a small 1/4" drive tool kit to keep at home for minor repairs. It contained various screwdrivers, torx and 1/4 inch ratcheting allen bits. This screwdriver handle is the perfect addition to this set. The magnet is strong enough to hold bits in place and even loosen screws. The handle is compact and suitable for palm, thumb and forefinger rotation and is much less uncomfortable than trying to use a 1/4" head ratchet. A great addition to my small…

Great driver but watch out for the size

Read all the reviews that this tool is too small. All of these reviews are for the 800 series. The series is simple, not everyone has the same grip size. It doesn't help that some of the photos don't show the exact size. I bought the 829, it has a regular size grip and works great. It's essentially a 392, but with a firm stock compared to the flex stock of the 392. In terms of size, the 829 is about 1 1/4 inches in diameter at most of the grip and has a grip length of 98mm. Big enough for…

Excellent well designed bit driver!

Great screwdriver! This bit driver has a bit latch rather than relying on a magnet to keep the bits attached to it and the latch is rock solid. I'm tired of cheap drivers that only have a weak magnet to hold bits in place. Also, the magnets only hold small metal shavings that ultimately make it impossible to insert the bits into the driver. No more hassle with the locking mechanism this Wera driver has. The handle is absolutely better in the hand than any other screwdriver and with the…

Great cartridge, great ergonomics

I was a bit disappointed when I first opened the box as it was smaller than I expected. I then compared it to my lifetime Craftsman #2 Phillips and found that the handle is longer and has a larger diameter at its widest point. Then I started using it and found that the ergonomics are far superior to the traditional screwdrivers I've always used. The hexagonal ring around the butt end, where the thumb rests, provides more grip than if it were rounded. Your index finger sits in a narrow area on…
