🔧 Wera 3/8-Inch Drive Ratchet - 5003550001 Zyklop 8000 B Review

This thing has replaced screwdrivers for me, has a very thin ratchet for driving fasteners, and is actually very quiet! It quickly became one of my favorite instruments.

. This did not disappoint. Always lucky with Wera products. I'm going to give a neighbor's kid an old but very usable handyman socket wrench.

Broken after 3 months of use and cannot be returned to Revain so will contact seller. I loosened the bolt and the gears in the head must have broken and now it just spins. Really cool idea, but maybe just use it for lighter torque bolts.

Very versatile due to the angled head. I often use it in the "Speed" position for quick and convenient bolt removal. The short length also allows it to fit in a variety of places, and the handle makes it easy to apply pressure.

Some of the rating categories are strange. "Perpendicular" or "thickness" for a tool? In any case, it's great. Well done, helpful and funny. It's handy to have a small set of metric and SAE sockets for repairs. Good as a screwdriver, with adapter and bits.

Good ratchet. The technique is ingenious, but the execution could have been a little better. I am an aircraft mechanic and was really excited when I saw this product. The functionality is great, the only problem is that the pan head makes it a bit wide to get into small spaces and the direct mode tends to unlock on its own and pan towards me. Not a problem worth bringing back, but worth mentioning. Overall a good product with some weaknesses.

Great general home ratchet. Can be used on small power trimmers, lawn mowers, etc. Can be used as a freewheel screwdriver with the appropriate accessory (sold separately if not purchasing this tool as a kit). Can be used for light work under the hood of your car. It has fine toothed innards with quality construction. Fairly short so not much leverage but will get into tight spots. Like the 1/4" ratchet, this is one of the best ratchets I have ever owned. The multi-position head works very well in hard-to-reach places. The shutter release button and directional controls are also easy to use. The handle fits my hand well. The only complaint I have about this tool (reason for 4 stars) is that the handle needs to be longer. I would even buy an extra ratchet if Wera made the handle 3-4 inches longer.
