Good. Not favorite parrot

My two parrots prefer similar gummies which are smaller, softer and come in a 3 pack. Sometimes they chew it too. I'm glad that in a cage as an option. I wish I had known as a kid that parrots are basically puppies and need all sorts of things to chew on.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons

My parrots (especially females) are crazy about this toy.

My parrots (especially the females) are crazy about this toy and cut out the pieces - they need time to make all the pieces as they take breaks in between and play with other toys like Well. It usually lasts two to several weeks.

Pros
  • Enjoyable

Second Purchase - Birds

My parrot still stays away from this but he completely ate the previous one which was a bit thicker and almost a foot long and all in one piece. She loved sanding it and worked on it for hours. Then she spent several hours in it. It is a kind of soft core bamboo. I know she will love it.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Compatibility

OK but there are complaints

Bought two, one for a young gray cockatoo the other for an older naked eyed cockatoo. The cockatoo doesn't seem interested at all. Gray loved it but destroyed it in a few days. It is tied with jute thread. For the price, they had to use a piece of chain or wire for strength. For these reasons, the toy is a bit to blame.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

fun while it lasted.

My little golden kennel loves it. In fact, he wasn't interested in the tree itself, he was attracted to the rope with which he was tied. Unfortunately, there's a reason most chew toys use metal to hold things together. This rope lasted about 2 hours before he chewed it and the tree fell to the bottom of the cage (and remained untouched)

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

My bird loves this toy so much he kisses it.

In November I got a Revain parrot that the previous owner hardly cared for. She has never had her own toys, she is addicted to cages, afraid of hands but loves to cuddle. I put all sorts of toys in her cage before buying this one. I was able to quickly teach her to play with this toy. She hasn't figured out how to tear him apart, but she can get treats out of him and cuddle with him.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • so-so

Our scarlet macaw destroyed it in just TWO days!

Our scarlet macaw loved it. At only 5 months her beak can be quite destructive and she loves to chew on wood. This parrot wood is VERY soft. Hovis completely wrecked/destroyed it in 2 days so she was thrilled. From her point of view she would definitely give it 5 stars. From her owners point of view it is too expensive for us to give her one very often, hence only 3 stars! Such an amazing toy that once crushed makes a great bedding at the bottom of the cage but if your budget is tight you might

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
