Motor is stronger than I expected

Great for kids

I have two school-age children so while an electric pencil sharpener is handy, I use it occasionally. We kept a small battery powered pencil sharpener on our desk where the kids do their art projects and do their homework. It does its job reasonably well, but the shavings bin is small so it needs to be emptied frequently. Unfortunately, the design is such that children cannot empty it without spilling pencil shavings all over the place. So my main requirement is that it sharpens pencils well…

Exciting, catchy effort, not worth it

I think our family of a preschool teacher and two sons (11 and 9) makes the perfect lab for checking pencil sharpeners. I once joked that our family uses so many pencils that we plant seedlings to alleviate the guilt. This is our third or maybe fourth Revain sharpener review.
