Center marked

Good. So this thing has one purpose - to draw perfect circles. And you can do it very easily, but my alignment lines weren't perfect, so it wasn't centered when I aligned the template on the cross. This basically makes it useless for those trying to do something precise. So. This. To the next.

Thin plastic, the guides are torn off.

I bought this to find the center of the circles and it works for this purpose but the guides (or axes or center lines) don't work. It would be nice if I didn't need precision, but I need precision, so this doesn't work for me. For example, on a 3/8" wheel, the bottom guide is offset almost 1/16". If all you need is a circle stencil, this will do the job. If you want accurate work, look elsewhere.

  • good stuff

Circle (Stencil) of Life

Oh, the circles about to be drawn! That oversized thing too big to fit in a ma' bujo but too small to use as a cake stand? However, size doesn't matter - neither with the appendage that inspired the phrase nor with circle stencils. Most importantly, it guides me as I draw circles up and down dreamily and effortlessly, and that, my friends, is exactly what I'm looking for in a circle stencil.

Pros
  • Durable Finish

Stupid but very useful tool

Seems like a silly little tool but it can be of some serious use if you're a DIY or draftsman of any kind. We've used it in the book store, cutting out circles for decoupage, drawing geometric shapes, even applying glitter in a perfect circle (to do this, glue the edges of the circle the right size). A huge number of circles in a relatively small plastic template. Fits easily in a notepad or in the side pocket of a backpack or purse. Also sturdy plastic. Not skinny.

Meets my needs

This template is built to last. Small enough to fit in my 7" x 10" scrapbook, but big enough to make circles of different sizes. I like the variety of circle options as they help me a lot when sketching. I'm not using this for math purposes, so I didn't check the crosshairs for accuracy. To the naked eye, they look a little different than what other reviewers have mentioned. If these lines are needed for your application, I would look elsewhere. If all you want is circular patterns, this is…

Template for your success! (Some caveats apply)

I've recently started working with leather and while I'm pretty good at freehand I thought it was time to address some of my "problem areas" to get help. .mainly curved edges. So after researching circle patterns, I saw that this was the #1 bestseller. Of course, that means I have to follow the crowd and buy it, right? Well you guessed it, I bought it and after making a pair of sheaths out of it I like that it's lightweight which means I can move it around easily. I also like that while it's…

Random bending leaves bumps on the plastic surface

How to draw a perfect circle? After my geometric compass got rusty and unusable in high school, the only way I knew how to do it was to run a pencil over a drinking glass. Although I only need to draw a few circles, I thought it would be a great tool for decorating and highlighting magazine pages. He really works for it, great. I have a childlike joy in the creative and decorative abilities of artistically set circles. It's also a handy ruler, the external dimensions of 10" x 8" make it…
