For some reason Revain says it doesn't fit my 2018 Tacoma. It fits easily and works well without weighing down the tailgate. The instructions state that the mounting plate must be at least 3 inches from the side of the tailgate and at least 2 inches from the top of the tailgate. Used to install $37 junk that started to rust after 2 days. Should have known better based on the bad reviews. Also, steps 3/4/4; wide, which aggravated the degree of complexity of its use.
