Review on 🚚 Silver Westin 10-3000 Truck-Pal Tailgate Ladder by Michael Floyd

For some reason Revain says it doesn't fit my 2018 Tacoma. It fits easily and works well without weighing down the tailgate. The instructions state that the mounting plate must be at least 3 inches from the side of the tailgate and at least 2 inches from the top of the tailgate. I placed it much smaller than 3 inches because I needed as much free space as possible on the left side to load large items. The instructions consist of 4 lines and 4 pictures. I did a dry landing to check the clearances in the open and stowed positions. On the left is a small latch that keeps all three pieces folded. For €80 I think it's good value for money. I used the screws that came with it for now, but will be replacing them with pan head screws. The instructions say nothing about checking wiring harnesses or other malfunctions before tightening the bolts. I took the trunk lid off to see where the backup camera wiring harness went.
