Great tool! Exactly what I needed.

This item works great with sheet metal up to 1/8 inch thick. 1/16 inch is optimal, but if necessary you can also use a little thicker metal. a benefit and necessity for me when working with sheet metal on the walls of my van. I needed a way to mount the aluminum flat screen mount to the wall and this was exactly what I needed! Just make sure you use the *exactly* right size drill bit when drilling the holes. If the hole is a little bigger, they won't stay in place and will rotate. M6 uses a…

Great tool for easy operation!

What could be simpler!. I used a 14" WETOLS rivet tool to attach the rear door panels to my van using the existing 1/4" holes. The WETOLS 14" Rivet Nut Tool is really easy to use and requires very little effort to set/expand the rivet nut. Although I only used a 1/4 inch mandrel, I changed it to a different size mandrel to test usability. and it was very easy and quick with the key provided! The blow molded body is very strong and holds everything in place. Always remember that the mandrel and…

Best Nutsert tool I have found for Jeep JK Flares

Bought for installing aluminum fender flares on my Jeep Wrangler JK (2015). In my research, the most common brand at Revain was listed at $30 more than the Wetols brand. I took a chance based on the reviews and was happy. zero complaints. The tool is strong, well built, hasn't bent or kinked with 20 drivers, has a nice body, multiple mandrels and spare drivers of various sizes. save your money Get this to install Nutserts in Jeep projects. If you're reading this, you're probably wondering if…

I tried using the tool on too thick material. Works well with sheet metal.

After reading a lot of good reviews I went to my shop today to check if I'm using the tool correctly. To test it again I 1. used another piece of 1/8" aluminum and it was still very hard so I pulled the mandrel out part way and tried again and it was a little easier. Then I post and screwed in after the mandrel. The crimped part of the rivet is in the middle of the aluminum so it's difficult to flare. Guilty. Obviously rivets don't work well with thick material. 2. Used a thinner piece of sheet
