Exact replacement for what I needed.

This was exactly the product I needed - I confirmed this with the company before ordering. I was replacing an old model Elixir so the connectors were a bit in different places resulting in some of the wires having very little slack to connect, but overall it went fine and solved our electrical problem.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

Direct replacement for 25A 2005 Fleetwood Seapine

It fitted perfectly and was easy to work with. After upgrading to this (which was the cheapest compared to camping component websites) all my electrics work correctly and better than before. The three-stage charging system quickly copes with a completely discharged battery. I know I'll be ordering another one in the future when my next camper gets a full refurbishment (1997 with a lot of water damage). Good quality product.

Pros
  • LED Fuse Board
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great replacement for Jayco Popup

Replaced the original inverter in our 2005 Jayco 1007 pop up home after it started beeping when plugged in. Internet chats helped me to conclude that this was due to a faulty converter. The instructions were good and it was easier to install if you untie any cables/wires that may be pinned to the bottom of the RV. Yes it was very tight pinching the switch and all the wires but it worked. I had to open a hole in the wall a bit because it was too high to just climb in. It took longer than I…

Pros
  • PROTECTION: Reverse polarity. Overheated. short circuit. overload. current overload. Current Controlled Fan
Cons
  • not reliable

The instructions state that you must connect the hot AC unit directly to the hot plate. So you don't have a master switch. Technically this will work, but you must be careful that the total circuit breaker current does not exceed 30 amps. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of the 30-year-old camping switch you're plugged into to avoid burning out the 30-amp wire or dying in a horrific fire. It is much better to connect the black AC wire (hot) to the screw side of the 30 amp circuit breaker. This…

Pros
  • UL, cUL listed FCC Class B
