WFCO WF8945PEC WF 8900 Converter Charger Review

The instructions do NOT tell you to install a ground bar behind the DC board to ground the ground and then tie the ground bar back to the battery negative post on the DC board have to. I had to call and call and call to get fired to find out. totally piss me off.

I needed a quick and easy solution to convert a truck trailer with shore power/battery charging. This was very easy to work with. Doesn't include basic instructions so it's good to know a thing or two about electricity, but it was an easy fix for my little trailer. Highly recommended!

Bought to replace an 18 year old converter in my horse trailer. Fits perfectly in the hole and even the screw holes line up. The old converter was a different brand. This model is much quieter; Probably due to the age of my old one, but still a lot prettier. The man said it was easy to install.

I bought this to replace a roasted Elixir Industries ELX-45 (no longer available). I found this product as a direct replacement. The main difference I noticed is that the ELX-45 has a metal body instead of the plastic body of this product. It was easy to install and took about 1 hour to fully replace. The built-in switching power supply/charger has all the basic functions required for battery maintenance.
