They do their job but could be better.

I usually get blue ones. There was no Revain so I tried these. They work, but there are a few things to consider. They are lighter and thinner than regular blue ones. The edges are actually pretty sharp if you try to pry them off. They actually cut the fabric on the new cover of the series. I'll be using these because I have them, but I've also ordered some of the regular blues here at Revain which work much better for me. But twice the price, so it's up to you.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Perfectly proven to be in the spring snow storm!

I used them in a raised bed in front of 8 inches of snow this weekend. In the past I've only used a bungee to try and hold the 3ml plastic over the 1/2 PVC tubing, but that never worked. Under the weight of the snow, the plastic kept falling onto the bed. There was almost no movement with these clamps. In addition, they have been studied so well that I can wipe the snow without moving the plastic. I plan to use my new Agfabric with them next time.

and thought for a long time

I bought them for my greenhouse "Green Metal Pipe" which I bought over 10 years ago. I needed a new "case" for it. I took 6ml of clear plastic and put it on the shelf. When I installed the clamps on the frame to hold the protective cover in place, they were TOO loose. I went in, drank a glass of wine and thought hard. I came up with the idea of using folded bread bags. I grabbed my bag box, went outside (with my wine) and started stacking the bags and attaching the clips to the frame. Went like

A good invention in the field of power tools and hand tools

They are great for attaching plastic to a round tube, be it plastic or metal, and are easy to remove too. My only complaint is that the corners rip the plastic wrap. Smoothing the corners to rounded instead of pointed and sharp made a significant difference. I might suggest that when using these clips that you either smooth the corners before use and/or also use duct tape (another great use for such duct tape) underneath to further reinforce the plastic. They worked great for attaching the…

Item is OK but wrong part number

I previously bought a model 11 locking clip from another seller and needed more. Since they had the same part number, I assumed it would be the same item. You are not. The correct part number for them is "11-EZ" while I used to have "11". 11, now that I can compare them should be the mythical HD version referenced in the product description. While both options are great for attaching a net to a 1/2" Schedule 40 tubular frame over a raised garden, it's annoying that the descriptions are poorly…

Ideal for a garden shelter

I have 4 foot wide raised beds that I cover in cold weather with 1/2 inch PVC folded over the beds to keep the sheeting from touching the plants below. I fixed the protective layer with bricks. I used carpenter spring clips. And thanks to talking to other gardeners, I now know these clips are perfect for attaching a protective sleeve to PVC tires. They simply snap open and hold the protective cover in place in strong winds. YUP ! They can be difficult to remove without a tool like a small…

Good buy best pipe clamps

They are exceptional. I used them to attach shade fabric to a PVC structure I assembled to cover some shade plants after getting rid of the invasive Norway maple that came with the house. I had to use more than I thought I would as it has rained quite heavily between dry spells this year. But they served to hold everything together in high winds, although the PVC elbow failed a couple of times at a joint. The clamps never failed. The edges of the clips are rounded and smooth, and the fabric has

A MUST when building a garden house!

Perfect for attaching netting or greenhouse plastic to things like a raised bed house! Fastening the fabric has become much easier - without them it would not have been possible! put them on but they hold up amazingly well! Eventually I had to remove a few, it was fairly easy to remove, just be aware of the durability of the material you are using. Great price - bought several packs! Extremely easy to use; Just line them up with the PVC pipe and snap them into place! It was nice that the…
