Definitely a great simple and affordable mod I can say the rear differential doesn't even come close to moving to ask for much under load.

I have one of these kits on my Legacy GT and now on my STI. It's hard to believe that something so simple can actually smooth shifting and dampen rear diff vibration. These kits do just that. Neat inexpensive upgrade.

These Rear Diff and Diff Support Bushing Inserts are changing the world. Throttle response is sharper with light to heavy throttle modulation. Great product, took 30 minutes to install. For the price, the ease of installation, and the increase in performance, this product is worth the money.

So cheap and easy to install and it makes a huge difference. For some reason Subaru seems intent on making rubber mounts to minimize NVH. It does so much to reduce rear end movement. This helps a lot to correct the juddering that occurs in 1st gear when navigating around a parking lot or stuck in traffic. Get this with some Group N engine/transmission mounts and you have a nearly brand new car.

Excellent quick repair of worn bushings. Be sure to use the included lube and I've found a small pry bar to be perfect for getting them in place. Just an edge that's sharp enough that it wouldn't slip when I used it to glue it in place, but not sharp enough to cut through the material. A 15 minute job that immediately fixed the rattle that was driving me nuts when shifting gears. Purchased for a 2001 Outback. The rear differentials were completely wrecked and I was looking at a repair bill of over $800. Decided to try them instead.
