Solid upgrade! fits shocks, struts and suspension

My 2015 Q40 had a cracked rear diff bushing with lots of play and that fixed the problem. I didn't notice any vibrations in the gearbox, but the car definitely feels safer when starting!

  • New
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

If you have a 350z/G35 with 50,000+ miles you need this

. I've had 6 350z and they all had burnt out diff bushings. I always choose this polymer case because the solids are too hard. Makes shifting smoother and more precise while driving and eliminates rear end chatter when it's completely gone.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons

Great product, difficult installation.

The product itself is fantastic, much more responsive to acceleration, cornering and no wheel impact. I installed it on my 2011 G37S sedan and it's a bit short because it's 350z/g35 but it works fine. difficult, and Infiniti replaces the entire subframe when these bushings wear out. As a professional mechanic I did the job myself and with my knowledge, tools and access to a hoist it took me about 2 hours to install as the old bushing/bushing is so difficult. can also be removed with a pneumatic

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Interchangeable

The gear engagement has become much tighter. Not too difficult.

The gear meshes are much stronger. It's not that hard to replace yourself, it just takes planning, patience and a lot of beer. The instructions that came with it were a blurry, dark, photocopied page, so do your own research first. Here's a readable copy: http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/install_guides/Z5206A.pdf. The power hanger is appropriate because I believe you need to reuse the inner core of the diff bushing, which cannot be reused if you use a drill and hacksaw to remove it.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Obsolete

This product has greatly improved the stability of the rear of my 350Z race car during operation. However, the large rear hub was so worn out that it could turn sideways and I had to push it in again and again. This only happened about halfway through the racing season. It was so loose that I just deleted it before it broke down and caused a big problem. Disappointed with this design. This could be prevented by some sort of washer or other design of the metal center piece. Given the cost of…

I recommend the following

04 Infiniti G35X. This bushing kit did a very good job replacing a leaking/worn rear hub. The car's performance and drive feel haven't changed since I replaced it (which I appreciate). It may feel a little firmer when in gear. With a helper, my machine on a hydraulic lift, and all the tools available, this project took about 8 hours. The two most difficult parts were removing the rusty bolts/nuts on the exhaust pipe and removing the large bushing from the back of the subframe. After seeing…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Empty

Color different than pictured, bushings I received were black. Installation was easy. Removing the stem bushing from the subframe was PITA, I ended up taking a drill and making a hole to put a saw blade through, then I cut the rubber out of the inside of the bushing. After that you can get a straight punch to cut two parallel cuts almost through the metal outer part of the sleeve. After that I just took a cold chisel and peeled a small area between the two cuts, like a banana peel. Lots and…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Excellent quality; works as advertised!

If your OEM bushing has burned out and the silicone bladders are leaking all over the subframe like mine, you should definitely replace the diff bushing. Torn from, as the old saying goes, the difference is "night and day". It'll feel nicer, run better, etc. While I've had an increase in gear noise (cheekbones), I've also changed the diff fluid (which OEM FSM info says is never needed), so it may have contributed . The Whiteline bushing has tiny holes for flex and knurling/hatching on the…

Pros
  • Highest support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Almost never
