Cutters for straight, spiral and trimming bits

This is the ideal cutter for 3/4 melamine sheet dado. I used a micrometer to find the thickness. Couldn't find any other brands in this size. much luck

Pros
  • Precision sharpened for the right balance at high speeds
Cons
  • No power

Highly Recommended - Power Tool Parts & Accessories

I own many bits from multiple manufacturers and I have to admit that all the bits made by Whiteside are the best in terms of build quality and cutting results. I highly recommend every beat made by them.

Pros
  • Industrial Quality
Cons
  • Damaged

Whiteside cutters are excellent in quality and durability

I buy Whiteside cutters because I have already learned that there is no substitute for quality. I used to do fine wood carvings so I can easily tell the difference in quality and have tried them all. The pair singles out Freud and Whiteside, and I have no doubts about either. Both make nice cuts for long periods of time in both soft and hard woods. However, these two bits served the same purpose. I'm building a vanity and chose melamine as it's the industry standard for bathrooms and kitchen…

Pros
  • Whiteside cutters are made of high quality carbide
Cons
  • unreliable
