I have built 4 bunk beds 2 times. Using this bit to bevel the edges made it so much better. The bit is very sharp and made many cuts very cleanly and with honest long chips, not dust. No grinding required! I love my whiteside beats.
Amazing nozzle, creates a smooth surface with little effort. I used it in my router table to bevel a walnut and it was so little effort to cut that I actually had to check to see if I had removed any wood after the first pass. Whiteside beats are my choice.
This was my first attempt at edge profiling, although I had milled right-angled strips before. I was nervous at first, but got used to it quickly. I've found that I don't need to support the base of the router other than resting on the workpiece. I used carpet tape and attached each piece, leaving enough space around it by simply holding the router with my hand. The cutter pulled the cutter along the edge of the part as if it had a magnet.
