After trying this brand's router bits, it's clear that their reputation as an "industry standard" is unwarranted. Despite being labeled as suitable for industrial and scientific use, these bits barely lasted through one project. The only positive aspect was their initial sharpness. However, that quickly diminished after a few short uses. In summary, save yourself the trouble and opt for a higher-quality brand.

I bought this router for cabinet door edges. When I used it, I was very impressed that even the red oak had no tears. I am very happy with this nozzle and the fact that it is made in the USA.
This profile (Whiteside 6022) is ideal for Euro-Hinges where you need to be careful not to get caught in the hinge hole when running the profile along the edges of the door. This batch of doors was just under 3/4 inch tall when we did the wide belt sanding. The Euro hinge hole is 35mm, located 1/8" from the edge of the door, with a hole depth of 7/16". As you can imagine I was a bit apprehensive about getting a full depth profile without hitting the euro hole. A test pattern showed I was readyβ¦
