According to my experience, this router bit from the Cutting Tools category in Industrial and Scientific is not worth purchasing. The brass inlay was poorly made and did not fit correctly, resulting in uneven cuts and wasted materials. The only positive aspect was the initial appearance, but the performance was severely lacking. Save your money and invest in a higher quality option.
They work well but the 1/4" shank is too flexible. There is adequate clearance between the drill and the template guide but the drill still bends and touches and cuts into the inner surface of the brass pilot bush.
Excellent quality, well made. BUT, it has a clipped bit! Completely useless for thicker tabs. Does a great job driving sawdust deep into the kerf, causing the bit to bounce around and destroying the workpiece.
Pros
Suitable for Porter-Cable and Black & Decker routers
