Maximum quality in minimalist shoes

This shoe is well made and comfortable to wear. I don't need a break. I don't like the molded toe guard on the outsole of the shoe, but that's just my opinion. This does not affect the fit and wearing comfort of the shoe. Great price for a minimalist shoe.

Pros
  • Helps develop and maintain a natural midfoot landing
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for people with wide feet and high insteps.

My tall son fits in these tall ones

This is fantastic for a wide-toed child. You look great! My son is 7 and already wears a men's size 8, so nice to have the velcro and elastic. We'll stick with this brand until his legs get too big. Size...15...

Pros
  • Nice shoes, but perfect for summer!*
Cons
  • The zero-drop design can be uncomfortable for those who aren't used to it.

Decent shoes, odd size

So got them today. The initial quality seems ok for the price. They had a slight chemical smell but that was ok. (I don't wear them on my nose after all lol) The only issue I had was with the size. 1) The seller sent the wrong size. Some reviews said they were big. This is with a caveat. (see below) I usually wear 11 sneakers and 10.5 dress shoes if they have a wider toe box. I ordered 9. They sent me 8/41.2) They are really big. Maybe a size 9 fit, but I can't say for sure as they sent me a…

The best running shoes I've ever had!

I'm on my way to brisk walking/jogging with little or no pain and have read that walking barefoot or at least with very little padding is a good idea. In Born to Run, I read about many different examples of how so-called "running shoes" cause more injuries than they prevent. The star track and field coach forced his team to train barefoot because Nike's new so-called "running" shoes caused injuries that didn't exist before wearing the shoes. I have a pair of Vibram 5 finger shoes that were…

Great unbranded minimalist shoe Price

I have been running minimalist style including track, treadmill, trail and road for several years. I started with Five Fingers and Vapor 3 but was disappointed with the high prices. A pair of Tesla BK30s were good but felt very tight (Asian foot?). And none of them were tough enough to handle the Yak-Trax, which is pretty much essential for outdoor running in Michigan winters. I've run ten miles in the snow and worked out on the treadmill in these WHITINs and have nothing but good things to…

I don't think they will last very long and that's perfectly normal.

To be honest I don't think they will last very long and that's perfectly normal. Look, we have shoes that bend. This is intentional. It's like wearing shoes when walking barefoot. Many argue that this is a more natural way of walking. And it fits the bill. However, I'm not sure if the material will last very long. With bottoms from Vibram, you can spend over $100 for good bottoms that last. But. those are weird shoes. For those who love her, they really love her. For those who hate them…

Good zero drop sneakers, minimalist sneakers.

Can't be beat for the price. I don't know how long they will last but these are really good shoes if you prefer minimalist zero drop shoes. Remember that they are so different from your regular running shoes. Allow at least a week or two for your legs and feet to acclimate. Don't overdo it for the first few weeks or you'll injure yourself. Also note that your feet aren't very protected, so I wouldn't recommend this shoe for rough terrain. I am happy with my purchase! UPDATE: I rode these bad…

Great minimalist shoes

Recently I started jogging a bit and some wind and I started to get pain in my knees and quads. I did a little research and found that landing on your heels while running can cause this pain and eventually lead to injury. I have found that the solution lands on the balls of the feet. But with ordinary sneakers, this is difficult, especially if the heel is large. Of course I walk on tiptoe in these shoes because they don't actually have a heel. These shoes are very comfortable even without socks

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

My new all purpose shoe

I have always been a fan of the Vibram Five Fingers but due to the nature of my feet I have never been able to wear them. The problem was that each toe had its own individual place and that would rub against them too much. Then I found an alternative to Fila that just gave my thumb separate space and kept everything else together. These shoes were great until they wore out and Fila stopped making them. Looking ahead, I considered using a more minimalist shoe instead of a standard running shoe…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
