Terrible Socket - Avoid this one

This socket was a huge disappointment. Despite being advertised as a professional standard tool, it failed miserably on the relatively simple task of removing lug nuts from my car. The automotive application for which it was purchased simply proved to be too much for this tool to handle.

Decent tools at a decent price

The socket itself is a bit small but works well. Used a few times, would like to review after several uses but seems well built and I like the compartment for easy access.

  • Stamped markings for clear identification. Ribbed stripe for extra support. Stitched and clear coated holes to protect against corrosion and rust. Rounded corners to prevent rounding of the fastener head. Beveled edge for easy and secure engagement of the drive. Beveled drive end for smooth socket operation

tools for life!

It's worth spending a little more for quality tools than buying tools that won't last more than 2-3 passes. Some of my tools WIHA, WERA, STAHLWILLE, GEDORE, HAZET, KNIPEX have been in service for three decades. They have outlived many of their branded instruments which I foolishly keep buying, always hoping for a better deal.
