🐱 Enhanced WIKI 002G Cat Tree: Scratching Toy, Ball Activity Centre, Jute-Covered Scratching Posts - Grey Review

I bought this for my 18 year old cat to keep her away from my desk while at work. She weighs less than 10 pounds so is stable for her but I have a feeling a small bed might be unstable for a heavier cat. Well designed and easy to assemble. The first day I sprinkled it with catnip for her to explore; it worked, now she likes it!

I have a rather small cat (adult). I wanted something for her to sit on so she can look out the windows because she kept trying to sit on my table with all my plants. She seems to like it. She definitely won't be able to fit comfortably in the house. She didn't even try. Our windows are very low so I wanted something small so it would be the perfect size for my living room. The light gray goes very well with my decor, it's very soft and fluffy.

I chose this cat tree because it has several different types of seats without being huge. The scratching post is about 3 feet tall. It's not big, but an adult cat can easily perch on any part of a tree. I read a few reviews that said the tree could tip over and after compiling the instructions I can see how that can happen. The package was much heavier than I expected. Looking through the parts found the smallest platform was missing, but it was inside the platform that goes all the way up, I just assumed it was a part. All the necessary parts were there including the small Allen key needed to tighten all the bolts. The instructions are mostly just pictures, but they are pretty easy to understand. Make sure you attach the parts correctly. I was in a hurry and reattached the protective box to the lower parts first,

Easy to assemble, just follow the instructions carefully, it's not that hard as some other reviews have made it out to be. Took me 20 minutes total, after which it took my furry friend 10 minutes to crawl straight into the round bed and get a good nap! This is the perfect size for my small to medium sized cat. I liked it at first but it has aged like milk. My cat has two trees and uses the other one a lot more than this one. Regardless, the other still looks and feels like new, but this one is falling apart. String/rope of scratching post is frayed and broken (cat uses it, but again it's only been a few months and another tree's scratching post still looks good with equal or more use). Also, the wood has come loose and since I've had it I've had to tighten everything twice as the plastic construction

This is a really great scratching post! Especially for the price! However, they do not use cat scratching posts on it. but my two cats love it and like to sleep in it! And play on it! I'll get leather patches to wrap around the spiky areas (my cats love to scratch the skin) but other than that it's great! I ALWAYS looked to Revain for an inexpensive, durable, easy to build cat house that was actually big enough for a full sized cat. THAT'S IT! If you're doing research, take this. It's quite big. This isn't one of the huge mega condos, but what do you expect for the price? Pretty strong. See above - it's not as strong as concrete, you didn't pay much for it.
