Disappointed in Kitchen & Dining

Just not melting. It stays lumpy and doesn't spread easily because it hardens quickly after melting. I found myself adding so much butter to chocolate just to make it runny that it lost its flavor.

Cons
  • Nothing here

Not what I expected

The candies melted so much I didn't even have time to use them, they didn't thin out as usual and it wasn't what I expected. I've bought this plenary clock before, but this time the candy didn't melt or run thin.

  • Heavy finish

They have an unpleasant smell and taste.

This product tastes terrible and doesn't melt all the time either. My cake pops are sweet but inedible due to the taste of those melty chips. I'm very glad it was a trial run. I will be going back to my high quality white chocolate slices. They melt more evenly and have a pleasant taste.

Pros
  • Good cause
Cons
  • Easy care

BUY YOUR CANDY ELSEWHERE!

I was so excited to melt them down to use in my Chocolate Oreos. When I put them in the microwave for a few minutes, they just didn't melt! The bowl was hot, but the chocolate was oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh ... I bought another bag in Michaels and worked perfectly, as the candies should work!

Buy elsewhere

Do not buy from this seller. Wilton is probably the benchmark for melty chocolate, but it was awful. I have a Wilton chocolate melter and it failed to get them down to a dip consistency and after a while the chocolate got even harder and thicker. I didn't add anything to them to cool off and start tuning, it just happened by itself. I will be returning packages I didn't use because they were a waste of money.

  • Best in their niche

My Favorite Lollipops Melts

I used Melts to make Chocolate Covered Oreos and they came out great. The chocolate was delicious and the white color was still bright. I reheated 1/4 bag in a ceramic bowl for 30 seconds, stirred the chocolate with a spatula, reheated again for 30 seconds and continued stirring with the spatula until the chocolate was smooth. Avoid heating it in the microwave for more than a minute. I found it easier to melt small batches of chocolate and fill piping bags in portions than it was to melt a…

Not as expected

I used this white chocolate in my small clay pot to melt chocolate and make desserts for friends' bachelorette parties. They came out like cream cheese and took forever to melt very runny. I did a double boiler on the stove and it still came out like cream cheese. I've used the reduction as instructed when it doesn't work the way it should. Nothing worked. It was the worst white chocolate ever. Thank god I had my own bag of brown chocolate from some store as a backup. In the slow cooker, the…
