Reasonable price but lid broke after 1 day

2 star 9 inch pan with non stick lid I had the pan 1 day and the lid was already cracked. It sat in the sink with other dishes, but didn't weigh as much. It doesn't fit properly either. Not sure if the plastic is cheap or why it doesn't fit. The quality is just ok - the pan sat in the water for hours and seemed to be rusty. easy. I don't want to say it's quality because I shouldn't have left it but it's disappointing. We baked monkey bread in a pan and it turned out great.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Fairly non-stick but spotty

I use this pan for general frying/baking and it works reasonably well for that. Since buying it two years ago, the non-stick coating is still there and the pan doesn't warp too much in the oven. While it will stick, it's easier to clean than stainless steel or glass. However, I once baked something with turmeric in this pan, and it was forever stained with spice. The non-stick coating seems to have soaked up the turmeric and I can't seem to get it off. It's not entirely the pan's fault, but at…

The non-stick surface sticks much better than my old worn out pans!

A few months ago I was delighted to receive a pair of beautiful new non-stick pans. The first few times I used them they didn't stick too much, but soon after that they started to stick badly. Even after soaking them, I have to work really hard to get rid of the food. I try not to use metal cookware and wash with a sponge that says it's safe to use on non-stick surfaces. Now there are rough black spots and the food sticks like glue. I only use them occasionally but now there is rust around the…

Very good frying pan for the money

I wanted a frying pan with a lid so I could put goodies in the church pots without having to take my 'good' casserole dish and saw it not - a frying pan with lid from Wilton for only $5.98 with shipping so I figured that would be enough. I baked a sheet cake in a pan and found that while this pan is cheap, it's definitely not junk! I poured the cake batter straight into the pan without greasing the pan or using nonstick spray, and when it came time to serve later in the day, I was pleasantly…

Lid fits with a little trick

I have used this pan to make cakes and tortillas. Nicely baked with a little cooking spray (usually Pam olive oil). Nothing sticks and I get nice browned edges. I was initially disappointed because, as many reviewers have pointed out, the lid did NOT fit. No matter how hard I pressed the edges to place it on my lip, it just wouldn't go through. So half of the lid was closed and the other half was just on top. Good enough to repel flies and keep it from getting stale, but not what I wanted. Then

Coating is peeling, rusting and description not as advertised

I bought this item a year ago because it was a non-stick casserole dish. The pan worked fine for a while. When I recently baked, refrigerated, and removed a batch of brownies, I noticed that some of the brownies had pan coating stains on the bottom, rendering them inedible. As I was rinsing the pan, I noticed that another part of the pan had lost its coating and rust had formed on the pan. This pan comes with a 5 year guarantee so I contacted the manufacturer and they told me "Please note that…
