Perfect for use on my SOT Surfski Kayak.

Excellent quality. Corresponds perfectly to the description. Should keep me dry and warm. Not a dry suit but great for spray and rain.

The perfect spray top for rowing gear

Not only does this top protect me from spray on the boat, it also keeps me warm when the wind is cold by acting as a windbreaker. Velcro closures are durable and water resistant. Plus, it fits perfectly yet is roomy enough to wear a life jacket underneath if you want.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • Flaws

Love This Jacket - Kayaking

I used it kayaking in the Chesapeake Bay on calm November/December days. I like the Velcro on the wrist. I don't have any water issues like the other reviewer because I have drip rings on my paddle so water never gets in my hands. I'm 5'10, 230, size XL, lots of space, lots of pockets and looks good.

Pros

Cons
  • Very Expensive

Please ignore yesterday's review

Correction: My review yesterday was not related to the Windrider. She was for another who didn't answer. Windrider have a great product and although I am returning their spray top. just because it's too big. After sending it back I will order the same again but in a large size not X-Large. Sorry, Windrider is a great company to have you.

Nice, but the zipper won't open. Returned.

Had to return. The zipper on one side pocket just wouldn't open. We tried, but it's cast or sewn. Too bad because it's a good jacket but ordered for pockets to stow things during sailing regattas. I've never tried it swimming so don't know how waterproof it is. The sizing was loose but good if you want to wear layers. XL for men 6' 1,200 lbs

Pros
  • Polyurethane Velcro adjustable cuffs and neckline for a near waterproof fit
Cons
  • None

Love this flak jacket

Bought this club for whitewater rafting in the Northwest. It was excellent. Fit: 200 lbs, 6'0", broad shoulders and long arms. Lots of water on top, I was bone dry underneath. MINIMAL sweat/condensation on the inside. Perfect for swimming in cool weather and on wet roads. Waist, sleeves and neck were comfortable waterproof. The 8" medium fit her well with the same underwear. The sleeve pocket was very convenient for a small camera. Highly recommended. Great for rafting!

  • Reflective stripes on front and back shoulders

Leaky wrist seals

I'll give this splashproof jacket a 3 for the leaky wrist seals. After using this jacket while kayaking, my shirt underneath was soaked to the elbows after several hours of paddling. I tightened the velcro straps as tight as I could, but they start to leak if you raise your arm above the elbow while paddling. In other areas I would rate the jacket a 4 or 5. The material is comfortable and breathable. It has good pockets and is comfortable. I assume that as long as your arms don't go past your…
