What an invention! in camping

I was struggling to save my husband's socks after using a chainsaw. Every time he cut down a tree, I had to throw that pair of socks away because I could never get all the shavings out. Spring. these things save his socks! From wood chips to grass clippings and dirt. Thanks to this cool stuff I was able to save socks! A GREAT IDEA

Unreliable. - Leggings

Not sure what the target market is. I wore them for a day (well, sort of, see below). I was in thick and tall bushes and felt bulletproof (mite proof). When I took a break after a few hours, I found that one of them had snapped and gone. The Velcro on the remaining gaiters had frayed and pulled away from the nylon. The marketing image is deceptive. They are shorter than expected. In the photo, I'm wearing men's boots that are a US size 10. I don't recommend them for heavy use, but why would you

Good leggings! best in category Shoes & Accessories

These are well constructed, lightweight alligators that I wear over my boots when mowing the lawn to keep dirt off my boots and socks. I live in the south and mostly mow grass in my shorts and boots, so I needed something to keep the grass and dirt off the top of my boots. These alligators sit snugly on my shins, not too tight, and also stay around my boots for 4-5 miles as I mow and trim the lawn. They appear to be well constructed and considering how much I paid for them this is the real…

Cord wears out very quickly

I find them *mostly* great for hiking to keep rocks and rain off my socks. However. The yellow cord running under your heal is really weak. I rubbed both cords in about a 10 mile ride. I replaced it with a much heavier gauge 4mm power cord for $0.80 from REI. This strikes me as a huge design flaw, especially when they could have used better material for just pennies more. Remember the $0.80 I spent was RETAIL at the B&M store. At the production level, it would probably cost them an additional…

Disappointed with leggings

Advantages: light and soft. Comfortable, you hardly notice you're wearing them as soon as you put them on. This provided good extra insulation and helped keep feet warm. Inexpensive. Cons: Poor design. They are uncomfortable to put on because of the velcro on the front. It is difficult to tighten them so that nothing gets underneath. The end of the cord flaps and dangles wouldn't stay in a knot after only a few runs. And since it's just a string, it sticks to things on the floor. On the 50km I…
