I love the fact that the Wireless Doorbell came with 2 receivers; I use them on the main level of the home and upstairs on the second floor. The 4 volume options are great and the variety of 52 different music/chime ring option is overwhelming especially if you want both receivers to ring the same sound, but it’s nice. We have added this device to help my hearing impaired ability to hear the doorbell. You can place the transmitters in a socket wherever in the house. Have one downstairs in the laundry room and one in the kitchen. It is working but no one from outside the household has rung the bell yet so we will see if it helps. We installed this ser outside our garage doors. Th I s allowed delivery (Fedx,USPS,UPS) to notify us when they had made a delivery. As our garage is on the side of the main house, using a wired bell would have been costly and difficult. This wireless unit did the trick and as there two transmitter receivers, we had one on the lower floor and one on the second floor. Inexpensive and easy way to solve our problem.

I bought first one to put by the door in our garage to the house. Solves the problem of not knowing if someone is at the door without hiring an electrician. Recently bought a second one for my parent's home to put in their garage. The wired one they had installed died so to avoid cost of an electrician, bought this. Helps that my father can plug in the 'chimes unit' where he can hear the door bell. May have to get another one to put on their front door! Definitely a good buy.

This has the right volume and ease of installation needed for my 1700 sq ft mobile home. Came with 1 doorbell and 2 receivers so put one in front of house & one in back. Before I couldn’t hear a knock on the door but now I’m all set. Hope they last!

To have to plug it in 3ft from floor isn’t very convenient in terms of location of the receiver. Most desirable locations are outlets closer to the floor. The process of selecting a ringtone is not convenient either,

It's nice to find items like these that do not rely on batteries. The only weakness is that once they are setup, if you unplug one, it resets the volume control to the default. Nevertheless, for the price, this is a great doorbell system.
