The cameras are working. The system works. But the whole thing is cheesy and really useless. Cameras cannot communicate through walls. The video refresh rate is slow. Can only be configured with a mouse connected to the monitor. The mounts on the cameras are crappy and poorly attached. If you have an open area to observe, such as B. an open office or warehouse, that would be fine for what is. But a house or something with rooms and walls. Forget it.

We bought this system and the suggested repeater to boost it. The repeater barely worked, we sent it back. We would have sent it back but we missed the deadline. The system has blocked us and does not recognize our password. There is no password reset information on the website or in the book; There is no reset button on the DVR. We emailed the company and it was returned immediately undeliverable. We can neither access it remotely nor get support from the company; this is a waste of our money.

Video backup is only possible daily, ie you have to save manually every day. This makes maintaining records outside the system extremely time consuming. But the worst thing is that the video files cannot be read by my computer or an online video file converter. You can literally choose any type of video file you want, and they choose an obscure type (obscure subtype, to be precise) that doesn't save space and won't work on a standard desktop. The choices some people make just amaze me.

The set was a nightmare to build, still doesn't work properly, online/YouTube didn't help much. Warnings don't work and aren't worth a damn.
