Expect superior quality from WIX

Excellent fuel filter assembly for 3/8" fuel lines and other 3/8" fuel lines where consistent particulate filtration is required.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Clean fuel with these installed

I have used these filters on a 2 stroke Evenrude 200XP for almost two years, the boat was stored with old fuel in the tanks and after draining and flushing the system these filters became installs the port and starboard tanks. The engine ran for several hundred hours and hundreds of gallons of fuel with no problems, I changed them several times just to make sure they weren't clogged with anything that could come loose from the tanks. I highly recommend them for troubleshooting fuel system…

Good choice for installing external auxiliary fuel tank on my boat.

This plastic body fuel filter works well with my power hungry 150hp outboard. I was expecting it to fill up completely with fuel during use, but it actually doesn't. It stays about half full of air, but the engine-driven pump has never run out of fuel. I believe that the fuel enters the outside of the medium and goes straight to the outlet nipple/port, keeping air out of the fuel flow (otherwise my engine would oscillate). The transparent case allows me to see if water gets into the fuel stream

Cheaper alternative to the original Kubota filter

Purchased to replace the fuel filter on a Kubota BX25D tractor. Wix 33001 came up as an alternative when I was looking at Revain, but 33001 was for 1/4" fuel line and too small. 33003 is actually for the 3/8" fuel line and my BX25D actually has a 5/16". -Fuel line which is a 33002 filter I used it anyway - it was a snug fit but it goes into the hose and on with a slight twist back, I believe the larger bore in terms of flow towards the end of the season will be helpful when the filter starts to

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Nervous
