Good filter. The packaging of the vstar 650 varies in size and size. To install a new filter, I use the old packing (rings).

Filter works as it should and arrived as expected. The only issue for me was that the picture shows o-rings and you get 0 o-rings for the filter only.

Not worth the money and the wait. The filter was the right size for my bike, but the o-rings didn't fit my 2003 Yamaha Vstar 650, so I went back to the old one. You can get a high performance K&N filter for the same price or a few dollars more.

It was listed for my 2011 Vstar 650. The filter itself was a duplicate of the factory filter BUT none of the o-rings that came with it fit anywhere near the size. I had to use an old o-ring to complete the oil change. VERY ANNOYING.

This item did not fit in my 2007 VSTAR 650 Custom. Compared to the filter I removed, this filter housing is about .090 to .110 inches longer. This is measured from the two metal ends of the filter housing. The same applies when measuring from the ends of the black rubber O-rings. This prevents the filter cover from closing properly. I bought a factory filter from Yamaha.
