WIX Filters - 24945 Cartridge Fuel Metal Canister, 1-Pack Review

I only ordered this filter because it had to include a gasket that didn't come with the filter. The filter itself seemed fine and I would have ordered it again, but I'm not sure if the description is wrong or if it was packaged incorrectly. Very frustrating.

Fits the same as the official BMW filter. I'll know how well it works when I make the next change. All gaskets and drain plug washer included, nice touch. Update: April 2017 I've used two sets and can't tell any difference to the BMW filters. One of the filters split in two when I took it off, but the inside popped out fairly easily; i order more

OK Sometimes good, sometimes bad. The filter came with a metal gasket that is not shown in the photo. (good) However, the filter itself was very tight, making it difficult to "feel" the o-ring to fit smoothly during final assembly. Also, the o-ring in this filter wasn't white (although it's white in the picture), it was black. I measured very carefully and it was the right size.
