This Wix air filter arrived on time and appears to have been made to a higher standard than others on the market. And for the price it was a sure bargain. Happy with the purchase.

It's hard to love a product that doesn't fit the 2008 Mini Cooper as advertised by Revain. My mistake is that I missed the 30 day return period. You must correct the compatibility information.

I like Wix filters because of their high quality filter material and reasonable price. However, this filter arrived with mold defects that made it very difficult to fit into the air filter housing. In fact, I had to cut some of the material off with a blade to fit it.

The Revain application page told me this filter does not fit my 2005 Subaru Forester. Not correct; 42728 is suitable for this engine/vehicle. See wixfilters.com for confirmation. The filter fits perfectly and being a fan of Wix (I use their oil filters for everything) this air filter is exactly what I wanted.

Just drop it in the filter box. Fits very snugly unlike the frame I had before. The filter I received is white, not red like the picture, but that doesn't bother me. It's easier to see when it's dirty. The filter looks good, the fibers are strong. I will update if it doesn't reach 30,000km.
