WIX Filters 51040 Spin Filter Review

I recently looked at oil filters on YouTube which led me to SIX brand oil filters and I have to say after 2000 miles there is still oil in my quad -Carmel. Colour. I never realized how useless the best selling Brain oil filters are compared to SIX oil filters!

With this filter and Valvoline 5W-30 High Mileage Motor Oil I noticed a difference in the performance of my 2.2 liter S10. It's up 1.5mpg and sounds smoother. It's about the oil change. By the way, oil is $20 a gallon at walyworld. After this experience, I also ordered an air filter from Wix.

I will be buying these filters for now, unlike most other filters this filter doesn't have a bypass valve on the bottom that lets dirty oil into the engine at high throttle. the heavy side, which means it definitely has more filter material. The filter is very high quality, I find it better than mobile phone filters that are twice as expensive.

I am very pleased with the performance of these filters. If you're wondering why one filter is better than another, I would recommend doing a simple experiment. Take a Wix filter and another filter from your favorite brand and cut the filters to reveal the internal components. I suspect you'll be surprised at the poor quality of other brands' materials (not all, but most).

Unfortunately they outsource part of their production and quality control suffers as a result. Keep buying their products as they still come out on top in all tests. Make sure the threads are clean, prime oil if installed vertically, wipe a small gasket, make sure the old gasket on the old filter and the mating surface are clean, and enjoy higher oil pressure. And remember, don't use fram filters, they are the lowest of any product tested.

In 2013 most oil is really good, synthetic or not (unless you have a turbo, you NEED synthetic). Either way, the filter is the deciding factor. All oils are contaminated. The filter extends the service life. Wix is the best. At the end of the service life, the oil escapes less coarsely. I don't live in the engine. I don't know what's going on there.
