Worth every penny! good for parts and components

I bought this lever to replace the stock KS lever as everyone else said the operation was buttery smooth and the XT I-Spec ll lever placement was perfect is ergonomic. 100% recommended. Others have mentioned that the screw holding the cable seems to loosen very easily, I haven't had this problem, I used a mm Allen key to really tighten it.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Only available in black

Well! Expensive! best in sport

I don't understand why it has to be so expensive but it works fantastic. One thing I like is that it has a screw to hold the cable in place instead of relying on a grommet which means you set the correct cable spacing on the dropper side first and then be able to pull the cable directly at the end of the arm. Very good. Never has a screw broken or a cable slipped through, anyone who has ever had this problem has to loosen something.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Why didn't I buy this sooner?!

So beautiful! What an improvement over my stock KS Dropper Remote Arm. I have a standard length Wolftooth and it's pretty close to the same size as the KS. I never worked on my post and it only took me 30 minutes from start to finish. Pros: Smooth action, easier to press, looks great, small thumb grip grooves, easy installation, cleans up the cockpit, great workmanship, fits my XT m8000 brakes perfectly. Did I mention it looks stunning?! Cons: I didn't buy it before I got it! Highly…

Much better than my Stock Fox remote!

I'd say it's worth the extra money compared to other remotes. Very easy to install and just perfect. You can see the details that went into making it, including all the breakaway features so it's not a one-time thing after a crash. I really like how smoothly the actuation works, as well as the adjustable mechanism. I will buy a few more for my other bikes. BTW, if you buy a Shimano II mount, listen to them, and don't buy a light action, the stock mount works great and doesn't interfere like a…

and this thing is about a billion times better than the KS remote

I bought the Shimano I-Spec II version: I have a KS Lev post and this thing is about a billion times better than the KS remote control. The action is smooth, like clockwork. Much better than CS. The ability to detach the arm from the mount and slide it along with the cable routed to the inner frame for rack service is great. The way this thing integrates with my brake lever really frees up the bar and looks amazing. In terms of weight, the I-Spec II version weighs 33 grams. KS Remote with…

Excellent remote control. until it breaks

I really liked this lever. I even went so far as to buy two of these and convinced my friend to get another one. However, after a few months of use, the lever broke off the clamp attached to the steering wheel. I have never broken or broken anything. It was of simple use only. A friend of mine also received the same remote after I recommended it to him and it broke as well. In fact it went to a bike shop and they said it was attached to the clamp by a piece of plastic that broke. They attached…

Game Changer: Parts and Components

I swapped out my standard remote that came with the KS eTen eyedropper I bought a few years ago for this Wolf Tooth lever. I thought I needed a new pen because I couldn't get it to burn consistently and it's a cheaper pen so I went with Wolf Tooth anyway because I have other products from them and I was very satisfied and they do have excellent reputation and excellent reviews . I chose normal action over light action because I have Shimano ispec II brakes and light action is not recommended…
