I bought this for my 7 year old daughter to practice with my dad and she has handled it with ease. It turned out great and she loved doing it. I kept her busy for a few hours, which is an achievement in itself. trust me. The only thing she struggled with was putting toothpicks in little holes, they either snapped off or didn't go deep enough, but we used pliers and it all worked!

Updated review: An important plastic part was missing from my box. I contacted the company who responded very quickly and sent me a new part. The piece of music didn't work out of the box either. I think they will send me a new one too? It was a shame to put it on the shelf because of the missing parts, but I appreciate a company that responds quickly and helps. We really enjoyed collecting it. We broke the main dancer's ankle when we pushed her into the puzzle. It's in us from too much pressure in the wrong place, but I mention it as a warning to others not to burden them with their feet rather than their bodies. The wood used was split and the two gears on the main main wheel were deformed, causing the dancers to get stuck every time the music played.
