We've only had this toy a few weeks and it's disassembled. Our kennel has many toys that he plays with every day that are many years old and still like new. This product is equipped with a chain that is too light. It doesn't cost any money.

My gray parrot is suspicious of new things and will usually pout and stay away from new toys. I am happy to say that he has taken to this toy quite well. Not broken yet, but keep trying. This is a great toy for medium sized birds.

They looked so good in the photos and description much better sound sold me! Now we have them and actually the bells themselves are what I was hoping for BUT the crackers are plastic and they should be heavier metal/brass/aluminum or something other than plastic. You can't even hear them! Such a shame!

I bought this toy as an extra toy for my two dwarf bunnies - I have it hanging in one of their playgrounds and they think it's absolute rubbish! They push it with their paws or their nose and they like little bells that tinkle. They also seem to think that ringing a bell will alert me that they need a treat, but I'm not that easy to train!

My birds love this bell. It has a unique sound that ordinary bird bells do not have. It's more like the melody of the wind that they love. Oh, and bravo on the call. Usually there is some kind of metal tongue that the birds pull out somehow. This one is very well thought out. No dangerous pickup call. BRAVO! Go on, go on. Thanks for a great product. This is a very cute toy but as you can see from the picture it is not safe for the gray parrot. Suitable for a parrot or cockatiel but no more. There is a metal hook that attaches the bell and cracker to the chain. My gray opened it up in under 10 minutes and had the clapper in his mouth. The chain wasn't strong enough either.
