There is nothing wrong with this mount! Screws into the storage area on the dashboard. No 3M tape and the phone mount perfectly holds my Samsung S21 Ultra with my Otterbox case. Overall this thing worked exactly as expected, personally I just wanted it for the phone holder as I'm a courier and use it, to see the app on my phone. After trying three different JK mounts, I realized I needed a strong mount that would really hold the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The vent mounts don't work as the JK has large wings that are fully rotatable and wider than any vent mount I can find.
