Looks great and works well on my Pella storm door

Looks great and works well on my Pella storm door. I bought this universal handle because the native handle on the door broke and replacement parts for it are no longer available. The only issue I had was that the latch mechanism position was about half an inch higher than the striker plate position on my door frame. I had to get a little creative and widen the hole to make up the difference (see attached pic of the striker). Also assembly and installation was easy and it looks better than my…

Not for Andersen storm doors.

Not for Andersen storm doors. I am a contractor and needed to replace the lock on my Andersen storm door. We figured it wouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Closer to two o'clock. This is intended to be a replacement for an existing set of locks so you will not receive a sample. NONE of the existing holes matched this product. And when the holes in a metal door are only 1/4 inch apart, making the necessary adjustments isn't easy. A template would be helpful to know exactly where to move each…

Good replacement for the price

This unit replaces the old brass lock on Anderson's storm door. If it was 1/4 inch shorter it would be perfect. You will need to ensure adjustments are made to allow the lock to go deeper into the door if necessary. I tried to avoid work and fought against the division. Once I did the setup (details and instructions are attached) everything went smoothly. I had to drill new holes in the door as it was assembled slightly differently. There is a star deduction for the included padlock. Not very…

Identical to Pella part number: 20278717

My aluminum Pella door knob broke and got stuck. I was looking to order Pella part number: 20278717 and saw this one on Revain for a cheaper price and faster shipping. I knew storm doors didn't have a standard handle and read some reviews that contradicted what others had written about them not working. I tried anyway. It worked well. I had to use shorter mounting rods and screws. They send hardware of different sizes for doors of different thicknesses. I was able to keep the same old original…

I bought this to replace Larson's gear.

I bought this to replace the hardware on a Larson retractable screen door. A part of the inner main mechanism, which is contained in the door frame with the lock and the door handle, is broken. Larson wants $56.40 for his hardware kit (.) The inside of the mechanism in Wright's kit is identical to Larson's. Wright's hands are much heavier than Larson's. Wright's door strike plate is much longer than Larson's, so I just left Larson's original strike plate in place. I reused Larson's original…

Saved $30-40! Best in Hardware

After replacing the door handles on my exterior doors and the front door of my home with a new white Larson door with polished nickel hardware, I decided it was time to replace the brass storm door side to improve stainless steel handle. I was originally considering ordering a new pen from Larson until I saw this pen. This is definitely a versatile pen. The kit contained enough hardware to attach doors of different thicknesses. The instructions were a little confusing until I figured out what…

Thank goodness they do!

I was sooooo happy to find this replacement because I have a so-called "forNEVER door". When buying they say the warranty is lifetime but when the handle came off they said "oh but the handle isn't covered on this model" well Emco doors don't even exist anymore. Glad I read the reviews otherwise I wouldn't have known people use it on their old Emco doors. I still wasn't sure if it would work for my door, but the odds were in my favor judging by the reviews. The old pen has literally fallen into

After reading another customer's comments about finding a replacement door handle from EMCO (now Andersen), I decided to take a chance and buy a Wright replacement door hardware kit. I've had great success. My door is EMCO "Forever view". It has a silver sticker that reads "US Patent 5039246" in red. My serial number is A 858197. This is a full screen door with a full length glass panel that can be removed/replaced with a screen. When I was trying to find a replacement set of Andersen handles…
