This unit replaces the old brass lock on Anderson's storm door. If it was 1/4 inch shorter it would be perfect. You will need to ensure adjustments are made to allow the lock to go deeper into the door if necessary. I tried to avoid work and fought against the division. I bought this to replace the hardware on a Larson retractable screen door. A part of the inner main mechanism, which is contained in the door frame with the lock and the door handle, is broken. Larson wants $56.40 for his hardware kit (.) The inside of the mechanism in Wright's kit is identical to Larson's. Wright's hands are much heavier than Larson's. When buying they say the warranty is lifetime but when the handle came off they said "oh but the handle isn't covered on this model" well Emco doors don't even exist anymore.
