cheap, basic, best in cycling

I'm glad it's small, easy to use and seems pretty solid, but mine had very little flex overall. A better packaging solution for shipping could have been saved as it only came in a padded envelope. It still works, but I'd be happy to know it's accurate.

Inexpensive circuit tester compared to replacement tools

Not comparable in price to parking tools. A cost-effective investment to prevent wear and tear on your bike's drive train. Just note that this check is equivalent to 0.75 and you should check with the manufacturer if the chain needs to be replaced at 0.50! Cheap bicycle insurance and a chain are cheaper than a drive replacement.

It works out. However, better quality control for tool straightness before shipment!

So are you interested in a total of 3 stars if I give 5 stars for value, use and weight? Simple, the tool came bent or, as I said, slightly bent, but not bent, like in a crease. Although I straightened it out as much as I could by applying light pressure to the wooden bench, it didn't flatten out completely. However, this does not and does not really affect the quick measurement if your chain has many kilometers left. However, this can give the wrong impression of a premature chain change if…
