I've been working with them for a few months now. I really love these gloves! They are dense and super strong. I've washed them at least 5 or 6 times and they still look new. And let's not forget that they look cool with tactical knuckles, which are useful by the way, and the gloves also protect your hands. I'm fingerless because my work requires me to push buttons and feel what I'm touching. However they are NOT waterproof/water repellent and may not keep your hands warm in cold temperatures…

I flip bowls, pens, etc. when you flip dry wood or sim stone my knuckles get very hot. sim stone hits you with pieces of rubble and tar. That hurts. it's like sandblasting. When these gloves arrived I ran straight into the store. I tied her up and turned on one of my lathes. it just so happened that the blank of the shell was made of spiced walnut. it was very dry. they did well. Of course there was no heat, but the landing was spectacular. I was all over that bowl like they were a second skin.

I have had many sets of motorcycle gloves including some that cost between $200 and $300. Held, Rev'it, Alpinestars etc. While these gloves probably offer the best protection I find them adequate and most importantly they are extremely comfortable that I would actually wear them. I like to ride bare hands when it's warm enough, but it's really not safe as the scars on my arms show. These gloves come very close to the feeling of driving with bare hands.
