Description of 🚀 WTB Vigilante 2.3 Comp Tire: Unleashing High-performance Traction

Prominent lugs dig into any terrain, wet or dry, while providing stability at any speed. Ample spacing between knobs ensures it flings mud while biting into loose, chunky trails. Most often used as an aggressive front tire, though it also works well as a rear tire on loose, steep terrain. Proven performance as WTB's most popular mountain tire. 925g. Usage: All Mountain / Enduro. Conditions: Wet to Dry / Loose, Rocky, Mud. Casing: Durable.

Gorgeous tyres! on tires

These 2.3 inch tires were too big to fit on my bike. WTB products are of good quality, I'm happy about that. This tire pairs better with a front tire than a rear simply because the lug spacing is quite wide and sheds dirt pretty well. Hard turns ensure controlled skidding, so be prepared! If I had to do it again I would order a 2.3 Vigilante for the front and a 2.25 WTB Trail Boss for the rear due to the tighter grip placement.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Long delivery

My old 26 can still rock with these tires!

Good grippy tires with big lugs to improve my 90's MTB. There's still plenty of room for the inevitable mud or snow, but I wouldn't want to try and cram more into an old frame like this (VooDoo 1997). They are really stable at higher pressures and work well on loose sand at lower pressures. They're kind of the budget version of the DHF/DHR Minions that I use on the 29er. Keep those vintage bikes going with these modern skins!

Really good winter tires.

I put it on the front of my 29" winter cross country hardtail which has way more blades all over which hide some obstacles and make trails and corners very slippery. The tire gives me better traction and allows me to twist and turn the bike better than the Maxxis IKON I rode up front. My only concern is that if you lean the bike across the road the grip will remain strong but then disappear without warning. All in all this is a good tire when you need more grip. I'm not a fast rider but I did…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Very expensive

All good but Panaracer is better

I bought these tires a while ago. Maybe because my standard wheels aren't wide enough. Anyway, I can switch to the rear on my other bike as I want something wider and my Panaracer front bump is better than the front tire than the Vigilante in my opinion. As for the idiot who says it's 27.5. .If that was the case, it wouldn't fit a 26" Lmao wheel. I have 27.5 2.3 next to 26x 2.35. My 27.5x2.1 is even too big to fit in my 26 fork. It will obviously fit your fork, not sure if you have 4mm spacing…

Great grip in rocks, firm mud, dry roots and gravel dirt

I ordered a 26 inch tire for my full suspension mountain bike and I run it up front. The rear tire is cheap. one and it's pretty worn out and will be replaced tomorrow after Revain has delivered my new WTB rear tire (nice upgrade from the old one). The good thing about a bad rear tire was that the grip contrast was huge. I regularly felt the rear end wash out, while the front tire just stuck to any surface and moved exactly where I pointed. I put 48 miles on this tire on my first ride and am…
