Buy them if you can

I have tried several brands and this is the best value for money. At about the same price as the Harbor Freight (minus the dented center) they last a lot longer. They are also far superior to the Makitas I've tried. They're about as good as Dewalt, which cost a few dollars apiece.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some flaws

Good quality, best price

Good quality cutting discs. Excellent price. Reference abrasives understand this. In the past, products were bought that were inferior to big names like 3m, Norton, etc. These new types of reels are thicker, cut and last like the big brands at half the price.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Too brittle on grinding wheels and grinding wheels

This is terrible. If they intertwine even a little when cut, they will explode. I think I used about 20 of these and they all broke. I bought a harbor charter and Dewalt cutting wheels that had no problems. I have reference flip rims that I love but they are rubbish. Only used when I don't have other cutting wheels.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Nothing

Best cut-off wheel I've ever used

Over the years I have used a variety of abrasives which were usually employer supplied and were the cheapest available. They cut more aggressively and last longer than most if not all other brands I have used in over 10 years of welding and fabricating. Don't be put off by the low price, this is a quality cutting disc.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Crumpled

Cutting edge for grinding and finishing materials

Very good cut-off wheels. I use with a Dewalt 20v grinder and it cuts so quickly and easily. Never had an issue like some others where it would start vibrating due to parts falling causing defects which resulted in more bounce leading to a critical failure and often an exploding disc throwing shards everywhere. :P

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • I will add later

Better than Diablo/Milwaukee

I've cut roadblocks, trailer doors, exhaust flanges, safety hinges and diamond blades with it and have rarely had any problems. I've had Diablo and Milwaukee wheels and they either break midway and the center comes out or burn out quickly and it's a pain when you have to drive back to the store and buy more. The attached photos are from work I've done on them recently, using 4 Diablo Blades instead of 6 before. Good luck, stay healthy and always wear eye protection.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Problems

Not recommended for grinding wheels and discs

Of the three or four I've used to date, all began to fail or fail during use. The center seems weak and after some use (once wear reaches 50%) they start to break where it pinches. The first one I used was throwing pieces everywhere. After that, I watch it and see where the center started to crumble. I can attest that I don't use the center of the blade as a grinder or anything like that and have never had this problem with Diablo blades I've bought from Home Depot in the past. Make sure you…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
