Description of 🔌 XCSOURCE 5PCS IIC I2C Logic Level Converter Bi-Directional Module: Efficient 5V to 3.3V Conversion TE291

This level converter works with 2.8V and 1.8V devices. The level converter is very easy to use. The board needs to be powered from the two voltages sources (high voltage and low voltage) that your system is using. Brand New and High Quality.

This product does not work as described. A 3.3V power supply was connected to the 3V power supply pin. A 5V power supply was connected to the 5V power supply pin. A common ground was connected to both ground pins. A 3.3V square wave at 3MHz was applied to the 3V input pin by a 3.3V microcontroller (ESP8266). The output pin was connected to the 5V SPI Clk input pin. The input and output contacts were monitored with an oscilloscope at a frequency of 1 GHz. The input was 3.3V peak-to-peak while…

Logic level converter but not the circuit in the pictures.

I'm fine with the boards, they will do whatever I need to move my Arduino IoT project forward. The logic level converters I received are not really the same as in the pictures. My schema matches sparkfun's schema, which is good because the product captures Sparkfun's description verbatim. But the pictures on this product show an additional circuit, I assume it's a protection circuit. I don't mind not having it, I really didn't need it and I would have bought it without it, but it was the best…

Glad they sent 5 of these :/

At first I thought I was overestimating my understanding of how these things work because the first one I plugged in didn't work. After playing around with it a few times. I decided to put another one in my breadboard and it worked. I'm pretty sure the first switch I used was crap. However, I changed two variables, I used the second logic switch, but I also changed the pins from low/high pin 1 to low/high pin 4. Pretty disappointed because I spent a lot of time switching after I'd already…

Terrible quality assurance, 3 out of 5 worked, good for next batch

I installed 3 out of 5 logic converters, 2 didn't work. Upon further investigation, I noticed that one of the dual-chip surface mount components was not properly attached. I checked that with a microscope. I emailed the seller to see if I could replace these two chips. Otherwise the other 3 chips worked as expected and the chips actually matched the picture. Upgrade to two stars. Updated: 05/09/2020. I'll try again with my return. All 5 worked as expected with no issues, I upgraded to 4 stars…
