I gave up on them after a month. Injured ankles

I really wanted to fit in these shoes. I tried to fall in love with them but in the end they completely tore my ankle/heel. It has thrown me out of my rut for a month now. I've tried switching between these and my old shoes to see if I can move slowly in them, but to no avail. To be honest I have flat feet and have always had supportive shoes. Maybe that's why they did me more harm than good. I've passed the return window so I guess I'll only be using them for gardening and maybe in a year or…

Now I buy shoes without shoes

I run 3-6 miles a day and use stabilizing shoes to prevent overpronation. 2 months ago I started getting what I think are knee runners. I stopped for 2 weeks and after 2 weeks it started working again. So I spontaneously decided to go barefoot. Day 1, no knee problems and 7% faster time although I thought I was moving at the same pace. The first few hundred yards were awkward as I struggled to find my stride and foot position. Day 2 is the same, no finding the step, day 3 is the same but my…

X marks place: Running

I wear an 11.5 EEE, 240 lbs, 6'1". I went up a size up to 12 and they fit just right. Many running shoes are in 2E and 4E available. I'm having a hard time finding the right one. Resizing doesn't always work. In this case it worked. I used to buy huaraches from Xero, I like the Genesis the best. They also have a lot of miles. I just got these Bought HFS shoes. On the day they arrived I ran five miles in the rain, the shoes stayed pretty dry to the end (the puddle got me. It was 40 degrees and…

Not for me; no response from company/waste of money

I really liked these shoes when I first got them - they fit perfectly and felt good on my feet for the first two or three weeks . However, the insole of the right boot began to slip. I emailed the company to get a new insole or possibly a replacement shoe within the allotted time for returning the product and have not received a reply. After several days with no response, I called support and repeated my concerns (according to Revain, the return window was closed at the time). Again no answer…

This shoe model is very light and very flexible

I have had this shoe model for a few months now. I usually wear them once or twice a week when I'm away from home and on business. Beyond what the designer wrote. Without socks: 1. With or without socks. If you take out the insole, the shoe fits "true to size" and has a zero fall 2. If you take the insoles out of both shoes and put them upside down in the opposite shoe (example: left insole in right shoe upside down), the shoe will fit snugly like size 3. If you cut the insole further to fit…

Almost perfect shoe

Xero tries other running shoes. I switched to these shoes from the Vibram FF V-Run because the latter gave me blisters. I now run with Correct Toes to keep my toes apart. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. Pros: - These are Xero shoes. They have zero drop, roomy toe, flexible sole, no arch support and a spring at the toe. Xero doesn't make pseudo-minimalist shoes: they're versatile. She is easy. Not as light as Lem's Primal 2 or Vibram V-Run, but still very light; lighter than…

Great shoe shaped like a foot but not for my feet

Almost every time I go on YouTube lately I seem to see an ad for Xero shoes. Your marketing department should be running at full speed. In any case, I've only heard rave reviews of their shoes, so I decided to order a pair of their recently released HFS sneakers in hopes that I might add them to my repertoire. the shoe felt very good - the sole felt very grippy - the build quality and materials were also top notch - the huarache style straps on the sides of the shoe hugged my feet without…
