So good I bought a second pair!

I bought a pair of these over a year ago to replace my running and athletic gloves. I fell in love with her. Great fit and functionality. I ended up wearing them when refereing soccer on a dry or grass field. After a year of heavy use I am now using a second pair and leaving the old pair for the gym. If you're looking for a durable cross-training shoe or zero-drop trail running shoe, you can't go wrong with the Xero TerraFlex.

Pros
  • Flexible and comfortable shoes for dynamic movements
Cons
  • Limited adjustability

Great fit but watch out for the seams

Shoes fit great and exactly as advertised. Nice wide toe, good fit. Very convenient. The only catch is that the stitching at the top came undone after just two months of use. I'll probably buy another pair but if they all break so quickly I'll have to reevaluate.

Pros
  • Only shoes that my husband's feet don't hurt in!
Cons
  • May not provide adequate protection for rough terrain

Causes pronation!: my review

My gait is normal across the board, judging by every running store I've been to these shoes cause an obvious pronation when worn. At least for me.

Pros
  • Designed to prevent leg fatigue and injury.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with bones

Comfortable. Continuous. stylish.

This is my third pair of Xero shoes. They are just as comfortable as the previous shoes I've bought but are more durable in the toe area. This is important to me as it is the area I destroy on the shoe. I play golf and wear them and wear them to work. I love her.

Pros
  • They are wide enough to spread your legs. Very comfortable shoes. Everyone I know who bought them loves them.
Cons
  • They're tight and tight.

Handy for on the go, on the road or in the office.

These are really comfortable shoes! This is my first pair of Xeros but I have worn Merrell sandals before and love them. I live in the far north east and find these shoes the most comfortable in our milder weather, but have worn them well in the fall with a wool/reflective insole; It really helped isolate you from the cold tarmac. Now that it's snowing outside, I use them in the office (after changing my winter boots). I was very happy with how light they are for walks and long days on my feet…

Pros
  • Breathable construction for extra comfort on long runs
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with flat feet

Perfect from foot to floor

These shoes were a pleasant surprise so I will be ordering another pair. Size, width and comfort are top notch. Has reflective straps for night activities. Also shoelaces made of thick cord. !

Pros
  • Stylish design for any outdoor activity
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with sciatica

Slippery when wet in my rating

The hard plastic soles make these shoes dangerously slippery on wet tile, concrete, rocks, hardwood floors, etc. They grip wet grass, but that's only because of the lugs on the soles. Once they wear out, it's a slippery slope to fall. I bought them because they're vegan, but the quality is somewhere around the $12 shoes, not the $109 I paid for them.

Pros
  • Made from vegan friendly materials
Cons
  • May not provide adequate protection for rocky trails.

Disappointed: my rating

I am very disappointed in this company. Got a pair for Father's Day. Really pumped up to hit the road with them. My family followed the size recommendations when purchasing. Result: too small and manufacturing defect in the big toe of the right foot. You have a great marketing machine and a seemingly loyal customer base, but when you charge premium prices you just need to have a proper quality control system. I don't know who their quality control is but they really need a new one.

Pros
  • Provides good grip on wet surfaces
Cons
  • Can cause Shin Splints

Great first impression!

I just received them and am very impressed. I had a pair of Merril Trail Gloves that I love and I love them just as much if not more based on first impressions! They seem very comfortable and for a minimalist "barefoot" shoe they look less off-putting than usual haha.

Pros
  • A minimalist style for people who prefer a minimalist approach to their shoes.
Cons
  • Can cause hip pain

SAWEEEET - my new review

Right out of the box it fits like a glove and is so comfortable I went online to buy another pair if you have a size 10 surprise. When will you get more in stock? Send me a 20% discount coupon so I can buy another pair, thanks

Pros
  • I have a wide foot, quite wide at the top, a bit narrow in the middle of the boot for me.
Cons
  • Difficult to find the right size

Wide toe is perfect

Finally shoes that fit my feet. I've worn a variety of Altra shoes for years, always making adjustments and sticking them on to keep my feet happy. As soon as I find a suitable setup, Altra changes shoes. TerraFlex fits perfectly out of the box, no regluing or modifying, not even relacing. After 150 miles my legs are still happy. I found my shoe.

Pros
  • I bought the TerraFlex for hiking but I love them so much I wear them every day!
Cons
  • He was too small.

Ideal for disc golf

I didn't know what to expect but I'm happy with my purchase. I wanted to use something for disc golf to keep heel up. The shoes I used before are also barefoot but they have a much better feel on the ground but they weren't strong enough. After putting them on I have a feeling they will last a long time and still give me enough earth feel.

Pros
  • Wonderful! Lightweight, durable and very comfortable. Definitely 5 stars!
Cons
  • Lack of arch support

Oh baby baby it's a big world

So crazy! Very well constructed shoe just not for my feet. I have a mens size 9.5 (narrow foot) and I ordered a size 10 based on size but it was too big and WAY too roomy/wide in the toe box. So I ordered a 9.5 but it was too short (thumb was on toe) and STILL too roomy/wide. They should offer a narrower version of this excellent shoe, but I think I'll go barefoot for now.

Pros
  • Ideal for activities that require constant movement, such as hiking and trail running.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate support for high impact activities

Big guy says XERO is my hero!

Oh God! What if the rest of the world full of people with foot problems gave Xero shoes a shot? It would be better! Spent Thousands on Shoes Hoping to Cure Everyday Pain: 💥Don't lie! Absolutely amazing on day 3! I don't want to wear anything else!

Pros
  • My first hike was very comfortable.
Cons
  • Buy one size smaller than your usual foot size.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

At least not durable.

It took just over a month for the sole to detach from the heel counter. In the time I've had them, they've hardly been worn. Pretty ridiculous for a shoe that costs over $100. Don't waste time with them.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • May cause calf pain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good fit, light weight

If you want to feel the ground under your feet, you have to try these shoes. They are very light and fit my feet well. If you are used to heels on your shoes, note that they are flat and you will notice a difference in the Achilles tendon and calves.

Pros
  • Encourages the use of the foot's natural strength
Cons
  • May not be suitable for arthritis sufferers

great trail running shoes

These are great trail running shoes. I've never had blisters with it, even without socks. A two-year warranty and a one-off warranty ensure you get your money's worth.

Pros
  • These shoes are shaped like a foot. I have an orthotic and it is perfect for arch support. They fit like a dream!
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or pain to those not used to minimalist footwear.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unsafe due to low traction

The shoes were 99% perfect except they have ZERO traction. Hard studs = slips on everything. If you just want to walk in the mud, everything is fine. Otherwise, if you step on a rock, a paved road, a tree stump, basically anything but soft viscous mud, you'll slide like you're on roller skates. Damn comfortable, but how can you wear dangerous shoes?

Pros
  • Strong and durable
Cons
  • Can cause plantar fasciitis

Corresponds to the excellent rating from me

Sized up from my last pair and they said to go down a half size and they fit perfectly, just like before. I was 10.5 and now 10. My favorite hiking shoe. Even under the worst conditions. You can feel each rock, but not to the point where it hurts.

Pros
  • Suitable for running on hard and uneven surfaces.
Cons
  • Limited protection against sharp objects

I initially looked at Xero waterproof hi-tops, but I'm very glad I listened to the reviewers who mentioned that they were stiff and uncomfortable. In contrast to these shoes, these TerraFlex live up to their name and are very flexible. They feel like ballet shoes with toe protection and great traction - and that resonates on the track. The contact and terrain control is really great. I achieved the best fit by ordering half a size larger than my measured size and then wearing thick socks with…

Pros
  • Arch support for better foot alignment
Cons
  • limited isolation
