Very simple and uncomplicated

I had the same Cannondale road bike for 30 years, it had the original bike computer from the 90's, it eventually died and I was looking for a replacement. Wow that was easy. I used rubber bands on the pedals and rear wheel, installed the app on the Openrider and it worked perfectly every time! Love how easy they are to use. I don't need another computer, just a phone that I already have.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not sure

Cadence sensor won't connect after multiple uses

So I used cadence and speed sensors for what they work out of the box. I had issues with the cadence sensor not connecting to certain apps where I had to remove the battery, put it in speed mode, and then put it back into cadence mode to connect it. In less than a day I'll try again and have to repeat the battery shenanigans. Just pay a little more for quality stuff

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Operating speed

Adapt it to an indoor bike, perfect!

As long as you have a gap of 3 cm, it's fine! The device is very small and after a quick upgrade I put it on axis (speed monitor). For cadence it's like a regular bike, nothing special needs to be done. It's very easy to adjust your cadence or speed, just remove the battery and switch modes. The connection to the XOSS G+ monitor was fully automatic and immediate. But I don't like the monitor: it is VERY small and it is mandatory to install the app on the mobile phone with location and bluetooth

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great for setting up a Zwift budget and for Strava and Wahoo apps

I bought these to use with a classic bike trainer to use Zwift. The instructions don't say anything, so you'll have to go back to the images in the list to find out which color corresponds to speed or cadence, and set them accordingly. Once this is figured out, they should connect to zwift a few seconds after battery installation. For some reason it only recognized cadence and not speed, so I pulled out both batteries and changed the speed to cadence and it worked right away. I've only been…

Pros
  • Shipping was very fast
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Will only work for a short time. Extremely annoying to use.

The sensor is only paired with the device for one or two sessions. To reconnect the device, it must be restarted by removing the battery with a coin. Removing the battery will also switch from one mode (cadence or speed) to another. Removing the battery is the only way to switch modes, there are no buttons or switches on the device. The only way to tell which mode the device is in is a small LED on the other side of the device, which only lights up briefly when the battery is inserted. Since…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Only available in black

Battery life Four to eight days with 20 minutes use per day

Two of these sensors, purchased together, each drained four brand new Duracell batteries in seven or eight days with only 25 actual minutes used per day. They don't seem to have a standby mode; Once installed on the bike they connect to my phone or Xoss GPS bike computer after 24 hours of no handlebar movement. The claimed battery life of 300 hours (taken as "working hours") is greater than the roughly 200 hours the batteries last whether they're moving or not. I was able to figure out a faulty

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Faulty

Poor quality and no customer service

I bought a full pair of sensors for my road bike to use with my Garmin head unit. They were easy to install and set up and connected to my Edge 530 with no problems. The speed sensor seems accurate, the cadence sensor data was questionable, but since I had no comparison I accepted it as accurate. After about 6 weeks of use, the sensor used to measure cadence stopped connecting. I checked and replaced the battery as it wasn't showing full power. After changing the battery, it could no longer…

The $38.99 item had TWO sensors, none (6/17/2020)

I bought two so now have two extras but my wife can use one and I have a backup. Sensors received in one day. They were easy to set up and install. I was using the cyclemeter app on an iPhone 8 with the latest IOS and it was trivial to pair it with the cyclemeter via bluetooth. The paper manual instructions were fine, but the online instructions in the videos on Revain were even better. Do not connect sensors via Settings/Bluetooth. Use your app, in my case Cyclemeter. I liked my Wahoo sensors…
