After just 4 months they started to rust. Also, there are no instructions in the box and this has been mentioned multiple times in the reviews, it seems who ever listens to it. Beware of Revain's Choice recommendations. You only have 30 days to come back and that's not enough time to see if it holds up. After that you have to contact the seller, otherwise it's more rush than it's worth. I would stay away from anything that claims to be "rust resistant" like this product claims.

Looks great but the edge hits the hood. Now a small dent on the hood. you remove. Tried different settings and included shims. Didn't heal. Over time, this will cause more damage to the Jeep's hood. Very happy with the bonnet locks to replace the originals. We probably wouldn't even buy a replacement for the "plastic" hood latches, but believe it or not, the squirrels gnawed at the latches for several months, so badly that they ate away every edge of both brackets and then gnawed at them the insulating foil on the cables under the hood (had to be repaired, thank God the insurance paid). Not included or no way to attach the rubber piece from the factory bottom latch to the new bottom latch. This rubber is very important, it keeps the bonnet clear from the windshield to the bumper and more importantly it prevents the bonnet from rubbing against the quarter panel and stripping the paint. These bonnet latches look great when installed. I was able to install it myself (just asked my husband to keep the bottom bolts from turning as I tightened the nuts from the inside of the side panel to finish faster otherwise I could do all the work myself ). The latches seem pretty strong but I only installed them today. Only time can tell. There is a small protrusion on the latch handle that comes very close to the hood when in the closed position. Comes with 2 rubber pads. One for JK and a thicker one for JL. I used one on the JK because I have one and the latch handle was right in the hood and after 5 minutes of driving you could see it wearing through the paintwork.
