I needed to install a new bracket for my lights on top of the front runner for the Slimline II Rack. This made it thicker and the lower stem bolts weren't enough. It worked perfectly, similar to the original T40 bolts, same thread, same look. I highly recommend them if you need longer screws.

Just what I needed after installing the Quadratec J5 lighter on my Jeep. They are about 1 1/8 inches long. The standard screws are just under an inch long and long enough to go through the lightbar mount and be securely in place. Too bad I didn't know this before attempting to install the light bar mount.

Previously purchased for storage at windscreen mounting points. Have a cube light and 50" windshield light mounts that used these screws to make sure they were tight enough to the body. These special screws were used for detachable rearview mirrors that mount to the A-pillar without a door/roof.

Bolts aren't as good as OEM Jeep bolts, but they do the job. They are longer than OEM and do the job. Standard Jeep bolts are much stronger, hardened bolts. It's a softer, powder-coated metal. The powder coating has chipped off the inside of the screw head. I had to touch up with paint as they started to rust when wet.

They can be 1/4 inch longer than standard windshield screws. I used them to install the Rigid Industries upper windshield mount and A-pillar mount. Grab and hold fasteners in place with just a few threads. Until I get to a local manufacturer that has longer bolts. Don't waste your money if you're looking for a really longer screw, this isn't it.

I was surprised to learn that the washers are not removable like the original washers. While this is not an issue with many windshield light mounts, it is an issue with the Xprite mount as the washer is too large for it. I ended up spending a lot of time carefully cutting the washer with a dremel and not damaging the threads. Once removed, the screw is the perfect length to fit through the bracket and light bar mount. Time will tell if it rusts or not but you may be protected enough not to…
