The perfect kit. Great Value

If you break anything in this set, misuse it (previous negative reviews) Works great! Better than my expensive Red Tool Truck Set. 1-Always use an oil thread. 2- Only run the faucet until it touches. Remove, wash shavings, repeat tapping until it sticks again, repeat until tap can be easily inserted/removed with just fingers. 3- Flush out any debris before installing the coil. 4- Load the spool and insert the new line with very little pressure. Insertion requires only the strength of two…

Right Nozzle and Tap Wrong Inserts

This review is for a 6mm x 1.0 thread repair kit. The drill and tap were fine. Insert could not be inserted correctly. After installing and pulling out 5-6 inserts, I decided that the inserts should be in increments of .75 instead of 1.0. Bit the bullet and bought the real brand store Of course I saw right away that the right bits have a larger thread pitch, 1.0. Properly branded 1.0 pitch inserts are included in the kit. It was very fortunate that the wrong nozzle or tap was not accidentally…

I had an M6x1.0 threaded hole on my motorcycle for attaching the fuel tank, which the previous owner cut out. This kit did a great job fixing the hole. The hole was actually a nut that was welded to the bottom of the tank's mounting plate. The depth of the hole was less than the length of the thread repair bit. All you have to do is unscrew the bit to the limit of the hole, then snap off the shank and then use a Dremel and a cutting wheel to cut off any threads protruding from the bit. If you…
